Clean edit, saturated look

Would this be the process you would follow on most photos to produce this look? -

I might of miss read this. I thought blend mode was a separate thing I needed to find. -

One that has had both RAW & levels adjustments? -
Hi Damien, I wondered if I could pick your brains on something I have been following this photographer for sometime now & love the her clean edit/saturated colour's look. I know I am only in Levels, but wondered if this is something we will learn along the way. The images have a real pop about them. https://www.facebook.com/jessicajonesphotography https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=648399557289663&set=pb.100063588729991.-2207520000&type=3

Thank you, I've written that down now.

Eeeek! why would my smoothing be at 10%? Would this be from when I set up my quick mask.... Ok, I've got it this far. I realised I missed changing the solid colour to screen. I'll play around with the rest in the morning.

I'm just doing mine now, what opacity, flow & smoothing do you have your brush set to for this work?

or this one? Out of interest sakes, why was the first one not right. Was it because it didn't have the rich dark background.

I was just confused why you linked it again? As I attached the photo with the changes.

That wasn't as hard as I imagined. I'm thinking this is what most people would buy actions for & never understand how it is achieved. Thank you

Hi Damien, You may have covered this one before. I'm wondering how to achieve that golden sunset look? https://www.sophieleaphotography.com.au/ The one I am thinking of is the photo in the middle with the couple & the two kids, I've sent a screenshot of the picture. All Sophie's pictures have a real warmness about them.

Making a file bigger.
KimMoore replied to KimMoore's topic in Photoshop / Elements / Bridge / ACR questions or problems
Sorted. I cropped my logo file to have less dead space around the edge of the logo & its much better now. -

I brought it off an etsy shop, which has since closed down. I have tried to contact them. I only have it in png format. -
Hi Damien, Is there a way to make the text in this image bigger in photoshop? I'm not worried about making the file bigger as such, just the writing in the image (but without loosing any pixel quality) The reason I am asking... when I upload it to my pixieset website the logo is tiny & I would love it to be a bit bigger & stand out more. I'm just un-sure how to do this

Thank you Brian, this is exactly the info I wanted to know. I'm happy to go with the more expensive one. Is DELL still your pick for monitors? I'm guessing technology moves quite fast with this.

I think your asking "do I see whats wrong with above" If so, yes. It says 4 pixels x 6 pixels. I'm wanting to know how to re-size something for the awards when they don't give you a specific size. ie 3000 pixels on the longest side. -

Re-sizing is something that confuses me! I want to enter a few different photos in Asia Pacific Photography Awards & these are the only instructions they give you on the size. How would I best do this?
