Which cpu would be better for a plex server? Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1276 v3 @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz or Intel I7-6700K both with 32gb ram With the I7-6700k there would also be a dedicated Gpu GTX 950 with the Xeon no dedicated Gpu.

I have the opportunity to purchase a used rtx 3070 ti. I will be using it with an Intel I7-6700k cpu. The power supply is a Seasonic 650w 80 - Gold. Do you think the power supply is sufficient?

Thanks Bryan Regarding Plex I am running one on a lenovo workstation using a Xeon cpu (not sure which one) It runs well but it doesnt have a dedicated gpu. So I was wondering if the Gtx 950 would help with transcoding.

Hi Bryan, im retired and don't think im going to start at this point with a new PC build. I did build this one and the power supply is a seasonic and is at least 500w . The 2 gpu.s that i that I referenced above are In the 200-250 range. Im currently running ps 2020. I do find some brush lag at times, especially with Corel Painter . BTW do you know anything about Plex servers?

Hi,My current pc specs are Intel I7-6700k + 32gb ram, Gtx 950, and Asus Z170 pro gaming/Aura MB. Monitor resolution is 1920 x1200. I dont play games and don't do video editing. I edit using Photoshop, Capture one and Corel Painter. Is it worth upgrading the GPU? I am considering a gtx 1660 or Rtx 2060 (can spend up to $300.00).Thanks

It appears the tool presets issue has been fixed in the latest CC version.

Unusual problem with PS 2020 (win). If I save a tool preset or load a set of tool presets, they work without any issues as long as I don't exit PS. If I close PS and reopen it, the tool presets are gone and have to be loaded again.

I ran Bitdefender Virus scan and it found 2 items. After cleaning all problems seem to have disappeared.

Thanks will check into this. Another weird thing started happening now. When I go to file open (in any program) I don't see any files at all. This older win 7 Pc is not used for editing, it is in my office and has some very old programs dating back to the 90's that are still in DOS (operating in win xp mode) and occasionally I have to access that data. I am therefore afraid to update that 1 Pc to win 10.

Well with painting you dont have to really fix it with traditional ps tools, you just paint over it which I did. I was just curious if this had to be done as a normal retouch if it could be done.
