  1. No I have not been there but they have shown me their prints and say they have not had an issue. I print with bay photo and so my PS set to their specifications.
  2. No they are all painted the same color. There has to be a way. I know of other photographers who edit in the dark mind you or in dim lighting who also calibrate and their prints match. I feel like I'm the only one in the world who's prints do not match ! I know of a photographer who uses her internal calibration on her iMac and her prints match up! Wha??
  3. I wish , that's when I shoot sessions. Then do the normal everyday things you need too during daylight. Night is when I have all the time in world.
  4. I was hoping you could tell me LOL! Is it 5200k? I didn't see any of those at my local Home Depot Or maybe I should edit warmer or cooler ?Heck I don't even know anymore.
  5. I switched to 5000k and 900 lumens today. I have 4 bulbs in the over head light fixture and two lamps with two bulbs each in them.
  6. Prints still warmer and I turned down brightness from the display panel to match up the brightness. So I guess this means the new 5000k bulbs are not what I need.
  7. Ok, so I re calibrated to 70 lum and d50 . prints are warmer than screen and brightness matched up pretty good. Should I re calibrate to d55 and a different Lum ? or get 5200k bulbs and brighter ?
  8. Crap. ok I'll start over, same white point? native luminance? I didn't start with 100 because it has never worked.
  9. Did you see the screen shots? It looks different. Maybe they are warmer than the screen because something is not right with the new update ?
  10. OK so this weird. I updated the profiler and opened up your instructions to start process. Well it didn't give the options in step two and three. Like it did not show the option to pick out measurement size like the small, medium , large and it didn't ask me to adjust brightness?? You know anything about the update? Prints are warm by the way. Brightness looks good surprisingly even when it didn't ask me to adjust it .
  11. Yes if you can re read I said the prints were a tad darker but not bad compared how it was.
  12. OK I'm not quite understanding. So lower the brightness first before calibrating ? Because its already quite low.
  13. Ok. I know you've answered on many many occasions. Should I keep the lights while calibrating ? And which point should I start at ? Since I am at already d50 and native lumens ?
  14. So I found over at my local Home Depot 5000k at 900 lumens is the highest they had. They had higher lumens but at 2700k , yuck. I'm using 4 bulbs in the over head fixture and two lamps with two bulbs each. My prints look better ! It's still just a tad dark but a huge improvement the prints are still warmer but not by a whole lot. I'm currently calibrated at d50 native lumens. Do you think I need to try re calibrating or find brighter bulbs , perhaps online somewhere?
  15. I will not be using this. I will use the 4 in the over head light fixture and depending how bright it is I'll be using a couple more in one of the two bulb lamps or both two bulb lamps.
  16. OkI found some LED that were 5000k and 1600 lumens or do I need a specific kind of type of bulb or CFL ?
  17. What do I need to do first to make the prints match ?
  18. ok I'll change them again today. So then should I calibrate tonight with the 5000k bulbs Or change the bulbs first then calibrate ?
  19. I already have the 5000k and 800 lumens bulbs and still same problem. I had them before the 4100k bulbs.
  20. Well crap , those are the bulbs I had before the 4100k. I had 5000k and 880 lumens I had 4 bulbs going with those.
  21. So when viewing the pictures in daylight the images are the opposite they are cooler and dark. I edit at night so then I need to adjust light and calibration geared towards that ?
  22. Its the only room I have. Yes I have sunlight coming through during the day. The screen is about 5 feet away from the window.
