I love Meg Loeks editing style and would like it if you could give me some input on how to achieve a similar look. Here are two examples of what I am talking about:

Ok, I will admit (shamefully) that my screen is not currently calibrated, so don't be too hard on me if we struggle getting this clean edit. How's this looking?

Well, the usual advice is to get his shoes to check their colour against your screen.  But since you don't have a calibrated screen ...

You can't possibly achieve this style unless you have good white balance.

Ok, thanks anyway. Obviously I need to get my screen calibrated soon. I just do photos of my kids, so it has not been a priority. Thanks again.
