Kazrk Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Hey Damien I would like to see if you would help me fix this backdrop.
Samantha LaRue Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Can you check this really quick why you wait for Damien? http://www.damiensymonds.com.au/art_tscs000.html
Damien Symonds Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Did you fix the colour space problem, Karen?
Kazrk Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 I haven't yet. I asked where I'm getting my printing done and they told me to do In Adobe RGB is this a problem. I'm away so will do when get back.
Kazrk Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 I have changed the colour space I hope you might be able to help me now.
Damien Symonds Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 No, you appear to have used the "Assign Profile" function. That causes the dullness of colour we see here. Please follow the instructions in the link that Samantha gave you. Ta.
Kazrk Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 I have tried again. I told you i'm extremely new at PS so sorry. 1
Christina Keddie Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Be aware that you'll need to fix the color space -- by converting, not assigning, of course -- for each of your files. I mention this since you posted a different image just now.
Kazrk Posted April 27, 2016 Author Posted April 27, 2016 Damien its been a while since I started this edit and have just come back to it as a little frustrated with editing. this picture looks great but quite pick on my screen. can you tell me how this was done so I can attempt the other photos.

Samantha LaRue Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 1 hour ago, Kazrk said: sorry Pink Yes, there are a lot of pink and peachy tones in this image from their skin and the backdrop color. It's just more obvious now because the other objects in the background are no longer there. Assuming of course that you're properly calibrated to match your prints already and seeing the same thing we are.
Kazrk Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Damien can you tell me how I can apply the back drop you have adjusted to other photos please.. Can you tell why in Lightroom photos look perfect but when I pull across to ps they look dark and orange tones to them.
Kazrk Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Can you tell me why when I pull the photo you adjusted back into photoshop to smooth the babies skin it looks very pixelated? This seems basic but still trying to learn.
Damien Symonds Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 What??? Because it's tiny, of course!!! I didn't give you that file just to use. I gave it to you so you could copy the steps on your own full-size file.
Kazrk Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Thankyou. I just realised it was small. I am just attempting it but boy I suck!!!
