PS / CC profile and Liquify

As of this morning I discovered (I have two systems) one LR preference was set to Adobe RGB and the other to sRGB on export.   I corrected that .... no worries both are now set to sRGB (and yes the pain staking task of converting some files back to sRGB)   Big lesson learned.   BUT,  I noticed that my liquify tool will not work in sRGB?   Is that correct?????

No.  It must be something else.

What bit depth are you working in?  8-bit or 16-bit?  (In the title bar of your image, it'll say either RGB/8 or RGB/16.)

16 bit per your suggestion on your world of information site.  :-) 
I was able to finally get it to work... it must be something with PS today.   Everything was all kinds of wonky.

If you followed suggestions on my site, you wouldn't be using bloody Lightroom!

You can't use 16-bit when you have Photoshop Elements, I'm afraid.

I just cull in LR
I have PS not elements....

Then can you update your profile?  It says elements in your sidebar.

And use Bridge, please.  It does everything LR can, and better.

I just downloaded Bridge.... I am going to play with it. 
And yes I updated it but I also still use PSE from time to time.
