snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Hi Damien, I used to be able to make a raw adjustment to one file and then if there was a series that were the same I would right click (Develop settings + Copy Data) and then I would right click Develop Settings + Paste Data and it would apply all the same adjustments as the first picture in ACR. Now for the past two days it's not working at all?....any Idea how to fix it I'm on CC and PC. Thanks
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I'm not aware of that functionality ever existing in ACR, to be honest. As far as I knew, it only exists in Bridge. In ACR, you'd use the "Synchronise" button.
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Ok. And what's the problem, exactly? Are you saying the "Paste settings" menu item isn't available?
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 It's there and I'm able to click it....but when I open the file it didn't take on the settings I've pasted. I'm going to try the ACR Sync to see if that works.
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Nope doesn't work either in ACR ughhh I use this all the time and it's so frustrating I have no idea what I did. I'll reboot again and see.
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Wait, can you do this first? http://www.damiensymonds.net/thread1.html
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 I have a PC desktop running Windows 8 and Photoshop CC. It is under 2 years old, and has 8GB of RAM. Its hard drive has 27.6GB free out of 149GB. The last time I shut down was earlier today. I have never run a cleanup program.
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) and my Data Drive has 455 GB Fee of 1.65 TB. Edited March 15, 2016 by snapmomma76

This is significantly less than the 1/3rd free space that Brian recommends. Better try to trim it a bit. 7 minutes ago, snapmomma76 said: I have never run a cleanup program. And run this pronto.
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Ok I ran the program and I'm now 46GB free of 149 on C: Drive and 541 GB free on Data Drive.
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Lovely. Now restart and see if the problem still exists.
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Sadly no it did not work.....neither in ACR or Bride
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Does it still work on older files, where you know it used to work?
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 It wasn't working but then I check the pop up where it says what it is going to copy over and all the RAW boxes I usually use were unchecked....so I clicked them all off and VOILA!! it works, I have no idea why those were all unchecked. I never touch that part. 1
snapmomma76 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Thank you so much though at least now my PC is cleaner and I will get some files off of it this weekend to speed things up. 2
