Kellyv81 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Thanks Damien for the quick reply! Okay so I have this image that if I can save it I would really love to but I can't get baby to look real - I have uploaded a photo without the headband as I want that photo now so will need to try and re-edit the one I am currently doing!! Maybe it's just not doable? These are the two photos I have to work with and how far I have gotten with it. I am so expecting to be shouted at for all I am/have done wrong but willing to put my big girls pants so that I can possibly get help. Thank you in advance for any help offered :-) Kelly Xx
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I think it's feasible for sure! The problem is not the composite, it's the lighting. You need to brighten the baby, I reckon. 1
Kellyv81 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 I didn't have room for my light and I NEVER use Natural light, Like a wally I did this at different times and the sun had moved! I used the bit of fluff from another photo to try and stop the arms looking too straight, Thanks for the reply! xxx

Kellyv81 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Wow thank you! Can anything be done to change the lighting? I even tried to flip her head hahaha
Damien Symonds Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Of course! Just brighten her using adjustment layers.
Kellyv81 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Okay cool, I am just going to quickly re-edit the image with the baby I actually want in the image and will brighten her up and post the image to see your thoughts if okay?? Xx
Kellyv81 Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 Hi Damien This is where I have gotten with the other image, Do it look any better than the first image? Many thanks for your time Xx
Damien Symonds Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 No, the baby is still too dark. See how the rug is so white? The baby has to be similarly-exposed.
Kellyv81 Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 Thank you so much I will go back and do that. Just adjustment layer? Does anything else need doing in your opinion? X
Damien Symonds Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 You see how the top of the head is so blue? You'll need to warm that.
Kellyv81 Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 I didn't see it but I can now! Thanks for the link, okay will fix those things! Xx
Kellyv81 Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) This is where I am at now, I have warmed the head and lightened baby, Any good? Sorry to take up your time with this, Sure you have a million other things to do!! Thank you Xx Edited March 16, 2016 by Kellyv81 Manners!!!!
Damien Symonds Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 There's SO much more I wish I could suggest for this, but it's all Levels-related, so I can't share it here, I'm so sorry.
Kellyv81 Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 I respect that, I am so appreciative of your help this far :-) I am not calibrated can is still do the levels and layers class?? Xx
Kellyv81 Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 Oh fantastic. I thought I couldn't for some reason, I will of course calibrate asap but would love to do your classes! I will go and look up the info now :-) Thanks again for all your time x P.s my husband said he misses your Facebook page, He used to like seeing your replies haha! He was the wally who used to put vanillia ice references to collaborate instead of calibrate LOL 1
