JuliaW
I saw that somebody has already asked this question last year and you gave a file which seemed to have contained work with levels and soft light. Since the file is no longer available I could not figure out how. Here's the link to Maria's work http://seamlessphoto.com/beinspired/2017/02/maria-svarbova/ Thanks a lot in advance! Damien Symonds
Could you link me to the question from last year? I can re-upload the file.

Damien Symonds
Ah, crap, I didn't keep it. I'll have to start again. Provide a photo of your own for me.

JuliaW
There are no people here but could be a good example as it's graphic. Like the other lady who asked you, I don't want to copy her style but I try to understand how to get this less contrasty clean pastel look boosting the colours. Thanks a much for your help! JuliaW
This is an edited shot, what else do you want me to do?
Damien Symonds
Well ... no, it's flat and dark, and with dubious white balance. This is not clean-processed by a long way. There is heaps of scope for more life in this photo:
Damien Symonds
Then, something like this, perhaps?
JuliaW
that looks very close, wow!

Don't post a straight-out-of-camera (SOOC) photo. Artistic styles are best applied after clean processing has been performed. I would not teach my gymnasts to somersault before they could roll safely; nor will I teach photographers to get artistic before they can competently edit cleanly. 2 hours ago, JuliaW said: could I ask you how did you achieve this? Not until you can demonstrate competent clean editing. This style will NOT work on flat images. This is vital.
