sraji
Hi there, I just bought a new monitor and it is LED Samsung. This is the link to the monitor http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/samsung-samsung-27-60hz-4ms-pls-led-monitor-ls27f350fhnxza-black-ls27f350fhnxza/10416643.aspx? I was just following you tutorials of how to use it with my Spyder 4 Pro. Everything was easy, but got stuck with the presets. I don't have warm, Normal or cool presents there. Only have Custom, Standard, Cinema, Dynamic Contrast. Which 3 should I choose to text? Or do I do for all? Just to give a try I did the Custom and got 6553 K. Then I changed to Standard and tried it, it asked me to reduce the target brightness. So I escaped out to asked you first. What should I do now? Please advice. Thanks. Damien Symonds
You should probably try them all, except the "Dynamic" one - that must be avoided at all costs. But in my experience with Samsungs, Standard is usually best.
sraji
I will try that and will update you Damien. Thank you
sraji
Ok So these are my reading. Custom - 6590 Standard - 6588 Cinema - 6692 Dynamic - 6619 So I'm keeping it to Standard. Also the Current brightness is at 109.0 I assume that is right too.

That'll be much too bright.
