Chellalee Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I am building a website and creating an image of text for my about page. In PS, everything is very clean and crisp. I save as a png because I want a transparent background. When I place it on the website, the middle area (vertically) seems somewhat blurry, although the sides are still crisp. Any ideas on what is causing this and what I can do about it?
Damien Symonds Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Are you able to provide me with a link to you website so I can see it there?
Chellalee Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 Yes it's under construction, but you can go look, it's www.littlelittlelove.com and it's the "about" page.
Damien Symonds Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Thanks. What are the exact dimensions of the file you prepared?
Chellalee Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 I'm out of town on the road so I can't check, but I know it is 1201px wide and (I think) 1200 px tall. Do you think that one extra pixel on the width could be the problem? The blog is 1200px wide.
Chellalee Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 Okay, thanks D! I will fix that when I get home on Monday, and let you know if I have further issues. 1
Chellalee Posted March 26, 2016 Author Posted March 26, 2016 Preparing the image file to exactly 1200px wide, of course, fixed my problem. Thanks D! Happy Easter. 2
