Need help with Image

cleardot.gifWould anyone like to take a stab at a raw image I am having a hard time editing? I know conditions were less than perfect....too harsh of light just before the Golden Hour, client in a hurry...learned my lesson.....anyway, client loves this image (shouldn't have shown it; but only one with the revered hat), and wants it in print. Hated the print....don't know what more to do with it... I have signed up for the raw class and will be hitting it hard after next week when I get back from vacation, but I'm hoping someone will be able to save this image so I can get it printed and move on, lol.  I'd like to get rid of the haze and bring back total color of the skin.

It's hard to tell at this small size, but it looks like it's out of focus?

Christinta, I loaded the image back on a memory card and reviewed it in camera. Focus point is on his chin. just slightly right.

I will get back to you in the next half day.  Things went crazy here, lol.  I will send a cropped version.  Thank you

Just a note on the focus point. Focus point is on his chin his right side, left in image.

So, any idea how I can lighten this, make sure his shirt gets back to the black and off white that it originally was, jeans blue and stump gray, red taken out of face and arms??  I've been working on it so much and I'm not getting anywhere.  I'd appreciate any input or maybe steps to get this image where I need it so I can print?  (I will be starting the raw class in about a week, when I get back from vacay)
