Remove buildings from back

How would I remove the buildings inthe back from a series like this?

You can leave the ground.

I thought it would be easy, being a straight line but it doesn't look realistic when I cut a line for the ground. I'm also not sure how to blend the sky, again it looks a bit fake.

I have a bunch of similar angles. Sky isn't a straight gradient right?

It can be, though.  I reckon that's your solution.  Just replace the entire sky.
