EmmaBrett
I have been asked to change the background to a royal blue faded gradient type how would I do that?
Damien Symonds
Can you make a new blank document, and show me how you'd like the blue to look?
EmmaBrett
Maybe something like this?
Damien Symonds
Light at the bottom will look weird. The light part of the gradient should follow the natural flow of the light in the photo. How does this look? (I haven't done the bottom part yet, but it's easy of course):
EmmaBrett
Wow it looks really good as if it was photographed with a blue backdrop.

EmmaBrett
Happy New Year! How did I do? I am not sure I completely understand all the steps but I followed along. Maybe you could do a course or video on it?
Damien Symonds
When you double click a gradient layer (to get the little window where you chose "Radial") you can click on the image and drag around, to move the centre point of the gradient. Try it and you'll see what I mean.
EmmaBrett
I didn't know you could do that! Hows it look?
Damien Symonds
I still think it's too centred. Mine was up there in the top left corner, behind the lady's head.
