Hello Damien hope you & your family had a good holiday . As you know I've had a issue with my scratch disc I was told the other day to free up some space when I down load my photos size them at web size is this so . Mine are like large like 4000x2000 would that help at all .

Oh no, you must never never never do that!  That would be catastrophic.  Always preserve every precious pixel your camera captures.

To free up space on your hard drive, move the photos you're no longer editing onto two external hard drives.  Do you own two external hard drives?

It's so important, you know? We can never trust any form of digital storage to be safe ... in fact, it's best to assume that every drive could fail tomorrow. So never keep only one copy of your important files.

Don't get confused by the term "Scratch Disk".  It's not some mysterious extra hard drive hidden on your computer.  It simply refers to the amount of free space on your hard drive; and it sounds very much like you don't have enough free space.

Hi Damien I just heard back from the computer repaire man & my computer doesn't have a normal hard drive it has like a RAM thing in there so I can't get the bigger drive I just have to use external hard drives .
