vbunnell Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I would love any advice on how to edit out these issues.
Damien Symonds Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Hi Valery, you forgot the noise removal. Can you do so, and repost the 100% crops for me? (I don't need the whole photo again).
vbunnell Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) Sorry...life. I remember from a lot of my other help asking you've had me remove noise and it always seems overkill to me how far you want me to take it. So I'm curious what the rule is. The luminance on these is set to 25 but the overall image looks too smooth to me. Edited January 21, 2018 by vbunnell
Damien Symonds Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 The rule is VERY simple - there must be NO noise. This is better, but still noisy. Keep going. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2015/10/noise-reduction-and-sharpening-leap-of.html
Damien Symonds Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Yes, that's terrific. This is the best method for the bruise: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/01/ridding-pesky-rainbows.html
Damien Symonds Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Because a big chunk of the shirt logo intersects with the child's hair, it's not possible to cleanly remove the logo altogether. So I'd recommend removing the top half.
