S. Roberts
I adore this creamy window light, and the tones in everything Meg Loeks creates. Is this photo close enough to give it a go?
Damien Symonds
Yep, I reckon it's a perfect candidate. Go ahead and do all your normal editing, then post it again and we'll discuss.

Damien Symonds
No no no, the whole lot. Raw, levels and skin. A complete clean edit.
S. Roberts
Great! Here it is.
Damien Symonds
Try this. Add a Levels layer: RGB 0/0.50/255 and 10/255 Green 0/0.95/255 Blue 0/0.90/255 Then duplicate that Levels layer. Change the second one to Luminosity mode. Now you have two Levels layers which are identical, except one is Normal mode and one is Luminosity mode, are you with me so far? Change the "Normal" one to 30% opacity, and the "Luminosity" one to 70% opacity. (Or another variation adding up to 100% to your taste). See what you think. S. Roberts
I think it looks good with the 30/70 split. I tried a few others. The skin goes red/glowy fast. Thank you.
Damien Symonds
Just now, S. Roberts said: I think it looks good with the 30/70 split. I tried a few others. The skin goes red/glowy fast. Yeah. At 100% Luminosity it's a bit too dull, but at 100% Normal is far too glowy.
