Jodi C Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 My lady friend would like her gobbler less noticeable. So I tried liquify, I froze the area under her so to not distort and then used a rather large brush and it didn't IDK i sucked and it still looks bad. Would burning the shadows be another step to help? If so I think I read that you liquify fist before adding actions and then what about Dodging? oh and BTW picture is SOOR no editing
Anna-Lena Ström McGrath Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Can you please make a 700x700 crop of the area according to these instructions for Damien?
Anna-Lena Ström McGrath Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 and another crop of of the area before you did your edit?
Anna-Lena Ström McGrath Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (Also, have you seen the handyman tutorial?) But, Damien should be here soon. So wait until he can help you... 1

Jodi C Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 just wanted to see if it'd work for entire picture and it does
Damien Symonds Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 That's great, thanks. When you were trying Liquify, were you using the Mask feature to make sure you wouldn't move areas that shouldn't be moved?
Damien Symonds Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 That's wonderful. So, can you show me your result close up?

Damien Symonds Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Ok, so the problem appears to be that you've used a much too small brush when liquifying. For this kind of thing, I'd estimate that you'd use a brush almost as big as the distance from the tip of her nose to the tip of her chin, if that makes sense.
