Josie Stahl
My hard drive crashed and in the recovery process, I got duplicates of some files. As I'm going through the files to delete excess, I notice that they all have a different number for the MB, but the dimensions are the same. Here's an example: File 1: 3888 x 2592, 61.32MB File 2: 3888 x 2592, 200 MB File 3: 3888 x 2592, 12.80 MB When I zoom in 100%, they look exactly the same. Which file do I keep? Is the number for MB arbitrary when the dimensions are the same?

Damien Symonds
Gosh. And all the files, regardless of size, open into ACR ok?
Josie Stahl
yes. I've inspected them at the pixel level both in ACR and PS and they seem to be exactly the same.
Damien Symonds
Well, choose the one that's closest to the normal size of the files that come out of your camera.
Josie Stahl
Ok. Thanks. That sounds much better than my idea - I choose the biggest file.
