New monitor time, maybe. IPS, anti-glare.... LG though, so not a recommended brand. Thoughts? It's at a reduced price locally at the moment.

Looks fine. Just be sure to use the HDMI port instead of the blue 15-pin VGA port (D-Sub) for the best results. Hopefully your computer either has a HDMI port or DisplayPort. There are adapters/cables from DisplayPort to HDMI. They are usually less than $15 on monoprice.com.
