changing backgrounds

I have this photograph that I would like some help with please...even if it is pointing in the right direction of the many videos on here...I would like to remove the two in the background so I can crop in close to Gill the instructor.

Hi Nicki, can you show me roughly how close you intend to crop, so I can see how much background fiddling we need to do?

You must have taken plenty of photos on that day. So you need to look for one where the background is clear in that spot where the background lady is.  So you can swap it in, you know?

I have a few, but Hazell is in the way...this one i think gives more of the wall in the background?

Yeah, I reckon that would work!  You can borrow the whole area left of the lady in black.

Well, by doing the raw processing on both photos so that they match as closely as possible.
