JessicaSalazar
I'm trying to smooth this backdrop to convert it to black and white. I don't mind the "marbled" look of the gray backdrop. I'm trying to smooth out the area in the top right corner the most. What's the best way to proceed? Full image and 700 crop.
Damien Symonds
Gosh, good question. One of those things that's more obvious afterwards than at the time of shooting, I guess. I'm confident I can help with this. Go ahead and do your raw processing (don't forget noise removal) and post again for me.

Damien Symonds
Oh gee, are you sure about this? It's unflatteringly dark. Is your calibration up to date?
JessicaSalazar
No, I'm not sure. And yes, I'm up to date. I was thinking the once converted to black and white I would see where I needed to make adjustments. I'll try again to make sure I have the look I want even in black and white.
