Is this salvageable

Recommended Posts

These were the most important images from the family's session, and I need to know if I need to tell them how horrible they are, or if they are fixable.  I'm crushed!

No, but that's ok.  Just checking.

Am I correct to assume that your main concern is the hazy areas where the light from the window has affected some of the heads?

No that is a concern, but one of many... it's grainy, blurry if you try to increase the luminance, and it's very dark (in the original).

Here's an example in jpg of the original

Right, I see.

Well, noise is not the problem by itself.  Noise can always be removed.  The problem is the focus (or lack of it) that might remain when the noise is removed.

So can you go ahead and remove the noise on one of them, then show me a 100% crop?
