tickledpink4u
Help! Why is there banding in my photos? I've never noticed this problem before however I just built a studio in my home and it's all white. Could this be the reason? I print at home using a Canon Pixma Pro 1. It's less visible on the screen but when I print is is quite visible. What am I doing wrong? If it's because of white walls, should I repaint in a different color and if so what color? Is it something I could have done in post editing? I'm at a loss. Thanks for your help, Wendy
Damien Symonds
Hi Wendy, Banding is a little tricky to diagnose, but stick with me. I'm going to ask you a series of questions so we can get to the bottom of it. First, I need you to tell me what screen you have. (By the way, no, don't repaint. White is perfect.) Damien Symonds
Second, I need to know if you can see banding on the raw files, when you're editing them in your raw program.
