k12pfc Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I enjoy doing panoramas normally I do 4/5 shots and merge to panorama in Photoshop, yesterday I took an 8 shot pano but photoshop couldn't successfully merge them, it seemed to do it in 2 halves! Is 8 shots to many?
Samantha LaRue Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 It's not necessarily about the number of shots as much as it is about the different elements in the image and how well PS can automatically identify the patterns and where the edges line up. Sometimes PS gets very confused.
k12pfc Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Thanks, when I resized the individual photos from around 25mp down to something like 2.8mp Photoshop worked well. It still produces a nice big file but obviously not gargantuan?
