Simon D
Hi Damien. A customer has asked me to crop out the 2 boys on the right hand side of this image and change the background to black. I have read your tutorial, however I am confused by the use of clipping masks. How to get it? I've used the Help option on PS but that hasn't helped. I've done all your courses but don't remember anything on this type of mask? Can you explain a more easier way to understand this please? Many thanks. Link to comment
Samantha LaRue
Are you still in the Layers and Masks class? I believe he has added a new module to the class that discusses clipping masks. Link to comment
Simon D
No I'm not any longer I'm afraid. Link to comment
Christina Keddie
If you're just confused about what a clipping mask is and how to use it, there's some basic info here, starting at step 5: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/12/simple-clipping-mask-and-storyboard.html Link to comment
Damien Symonds
Crop out the two boys on the right? How do you intend to do that, exactly? You'll have to crop really close to the middle boy's head, yes? Link to comment
Simon D
I've effectively drawn a line inbetween the middle boy and the boy 3rd on the right. The background now needs to be converted to black. Just confused about clipping masks as per your tutorial on changing backgrounds. I'll look at the link Christina has sent above. Link to comment
Damien Symonds
Oh! You mean "crop out the three kids on the left". Hence my confusion. 1 Link to comment
