Shadow removal

How can I remove shadow that is on the wall.

Definitely don't attempt to remove it.  It's too difficult.

Instead, replace the whole background.

That's right, but a radial one.

As I mentioned earlier, I used a radial gradient rather than a linear one, but I think what you've done here will totally work. Go ahead and start your precise masking now.

  How is this Damien. As you have suggested I use Radial gradient instead the linear one. (Please excuse my masking skill )

Just use a two-colour gradient - dark to light.  It looks a bit weird having that dark circle behind his neck.

Otherwise, this is good.  Now zoom WAY in and start masking properly.

I can still faintly see the shadow in the last one you just posted. I think you may have reduce the opacity on the gradient layer by accident?
