cathm
Hi! during the session, the parents stayed near this baby and left some jeans colored marks all over on this seamless paper. I am wondering what is the best way to edit them out. without leaving any bandings. I purposely made this image darker so that you can see the marks more obvious. Thanks, Cathy

Damien Symonds
Yeah, you can't safely edit them out. You'll need to replace the background. https://www.damiensymonds.net/preventing-banding-in-backdrops/
cathm
I was afraid that you would say this I can just replace the floor oart and not the background with hanging greens, right?
Damien Symonds
Right.
Damien Symonds
Of course don't do ANY Photoshop work until the raw editing is done properly. PLEASE keep posting photos in the class. You should have been well and truly finished it by now.
cathm
Sorry, I am confused... 1) I did Raw editing in Camera Raw before photoshopping the image. Does it look like I didn't raw edit properly? 2) so post more outdoor photos for WB in your class other than the one I already posted? Ideally, how many more should I post? Damien Symonds
Just now, cathm said: 1) I did Raw editing in Camera Raw before photoshopping the image. Does it look like I didn't raw edit properly? Yes. 1 minute ago, cathm said: 2) so post more outdoor photos for WB in your class other than the one I already posted? Ideally, how many more should I post? Yes please. Until I say stop. I need to see that you can consistently get their white balance right, first time every time.
