Liv - 1: Fix baby wrap

Hi Damien, you have been helping me with this picture, the baby's wrap is transparent is some areas. In the bellow post, you suggested using channel mixer adjustment and suggested the value. would this work here? what values would i use (i never use this adjustment layer before)

Yeah, no, Channel Mixer won't work here, because the tones aren't different enough.

This is the best I can offer.  It's not perfect, but an improvement to a degree, at least.

First, a fabric-coloured Solid Color layer on Lighten mode, and paint gently (10% brush) over the darkest areas.  Then the Hue/Sat layer over the top.

how is this? what effect does ticking the box "colourize" have on the hue/saturation layer?

Well, it makes everything the same colour.

to my "untriained" eye it looks ok, but is there something wrong with it? i want to learn as much as possible so if something is amiss i would like to try to fix it...
