Canvas Size #3

IMPORTANT: There are three “Canvas Size” steps in this action. This time, make sure you’ve chosen the third one, just after “Flatten image”.

Choose “Record Again”:

Now we’re adding the border. The dialog will look a little different this time, because the “Relative” box is checked:

In both fields, enter double your border thickness. In my example, my border was 25px, so I enter 50 in both fields.

One more thing. By default, the action gives you a white border. But of course it can be any colour you like. To choose a different colour, simply click on the little swatch at the bottom of the Canvas Size dialog:

Please note, this option might not be available in very old versions of Photoshop.

Once you’ve changed the numbers and colours as needed, press OK.
