samf09
As far as I can tell, I am in sRGB for everything and there are no Facebook filters, but on Facebook my images are very yellow. I just got a new computer so I am sure I have a setting fudged up somewhere, I just can't figure out where. Edited June 24, 2016 by samf09

samf09
I just checked and it looks the same in bridge too (yellow). I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
Damien Symonds
And what about Photoshop itself?
samf09
When I open it back up in photoshop it has the yellow tone.
Damien Symonds
So you're saying that Photoshop, Bridge and Facebook all match each other?
samf09
No no, sorry that makes no sense. Here when I edited it I got this: but got this of Facebook and bridge, which is way more yellow I closed out the file and opened it back up in photoshop and got this again:
samf09
however I just looked at it in Bridge again and it looks right
Damien Symonds
Let's boil this down to the core. Do you have a match between Photoshop and your pro lab prints?
samf09
Yes, my calibration is good, no problems with matching prints.
Damien Symonds
Great. So this is only a Facebook problem? What about other websites?

Damien Symonds
Ok, let's start by dealing with Facebook, then we'll see what else needs fixing. http://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tsfb000.html

Damien Symonds
How many screens do you have?
samf09
Just one. I am however on a laptop now instead of a desktop like my profile says. (dont know if that makes a difference)
Damien Symonds
Hmmm ... usually this problem occurs when a desktop screen is plugged into a laptop. It shouldn't happen on a laptop alone. 7 minutes ago, samf09 said: I did that troublshooter with no luck. So your settings are definitely correct per this? samf09
I dont know if this means anything, but when I am looking at the file in photoshop and go to assign profile, it turns it to the yellow color when the preview button is turned on, but if I turn preview off it goes back to the normal color. Damien Symonds
That's not Assign Profile, it's Convert. And no, Convert doesn't mean anything. However, if you close that Convert window and toggle Ctrl Y off and on, does the same yellow change happen?
samf09
Ahhh I went through and changed the color management stuff in Firefox from that last link and now it looks right on Facebook.
samf09
I am super confused though because they all match now.... however none of them look like my original screenshot from photoshop.
Damien Symonds
Doesn't matter, does it? If they all match, and they all match the pro lab prints ... ?
