Stacey Sedgman
Hi Damien Calibrating a new dell xps15 with a spyder 4 elite and I'm receiving the attached message at the end. Followed the steps for calibrating with the spyder 5 elite tutorial and my screen brightness is 84 after brightness calibration is complete. This appears at the end. Screen is really bright compared to my laptop and my Asus screen. Have I done something wrong?
Damien Symonds
Ah crap. The Spyder4 might not be able to properly cope with the modern screen technology. 25 minutes ago, Stacey Sedgman said: Screen is really bright compared to my laptop and my Asus screen. Sounds like the 178 might be more accurate than the 84, eh? Did you check and turn this off? https://www.damiensymonds.net/premiercolor
Stacey Sedgman
I'm going to do some darker prints to compare. Screen seems very bright compared to the others. The srgb was 100% thank goodness. I'll let you know what it looks like once I have the other prints to compare.
