My previous laptop used to have some weird brush activity when using a mask, it would draw random lines all over the mask, like someone had taken over my pen tool and gone crazy! I thought this maybe was due to the laptop being older and not having enough space etc but my new laptop has started doing this too and it is under a week old, 32GB RAM, 1 TB SSD with 891GB of free space.
