Hi

I took a video and images on my Canon 5D mark III and have been trying to download onto my mac and this is the first time this issue has showed up. I have updated Bridge and restarted my laptop and the issue is still happening, I'm not sure what to do?

This is my first time shooting a video on my camera and before now I have never had this issue when downloading photos.

Hi @awillow.cm, I wouldn't worry about it for now.  The whole "Get photos from device" thing is stupid anyway.

For now, just copy and paste the files from your card to your hard drive in the usual way, then browse that folder in Bridge to make sure it can see them.

How did it go, @awillow.cm?

Thank you for the help! I had tried using my mum's old card reader before but my laptop (which is the new macbook pro so only has the USB Type-C connects) never downloaded the images from that card reader so I Just turned to connecting my camera to my laptop but now I see why card readers are better ? That thread you sent me was really helpful and showed me a really good card reader that has the UBS Type-C connector, Thank you!!
