Saving the profile

The next screen is momentarily confusing, because it's the same screen we left a few minutes ago!  It's ok, just press Next.

  • By default, the X-Rite software will try to give your profile a gibberish name involving the model of your screen, and the date. Personally, I prefer to name the profile by the targets I used.
  • Keep the ICC Profile on Version 2.  (On Macs it will encourage you to use Version 4, but Version 4 still isn't universally recognised.)
  • Leave the Profile Reminder at 4 weeks.

Then press "Save Profile" to commit the calibration to your hard drive.
