Damien Symonds
< Go back to the previous step << Go back to the beginning The comparison Now that the calibration is finished, it’s time to check the results, by comparing some prints. I explained this process on this page. Satisfied with the print match? Great! Go here >>But if you're not satisfied, go here >> Link to comment
365andBrand
So it looks like my newly calibrated monitor is a tiny bit brighter than my prints from the raw class, pre-calibration. I’m going to check again during the day tomorrow or see if it’s my room lights. However, I do like my monitor better now and I even like my images better. But if my prints were the same as my monitor pre-calibration, what is the benefit on now being calibrated (and lighter than my prints?) I’d love my prints to come out how I see them on my monitor now. Will they now arrive the way they look on my calibrated monitor? Thx Link to comment
Damien Symonds
Just now, 365andBrand said: So it looks like my newly calibrated monitor is a tiny bit brighter than my prints Then calibrate again, with lower brightness. Your screen must match your prints EXACTLY. Link to comment

Damien Symonds
If you calibrated to 100cd/m2 last time, then yes, calibrate to 90 this time. 1 Link to comment
