Josie Stahl Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Hi Damien, I got myself in a pickle by using a blanket that the couple now wants removed. I have added in part of a boot, a pant leg and some grass and leaves. I know it still needs shadows and darkening, but I'm stuck. Can you help me out? How does my fix look so far? First photo is SOOR.
Damien Symonds Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Holy moley! You've done an excellent job, well done! You're right, just add some shadowing and call it done.
Josie Stahl Posted December 9, 2020 Author Posted December 9, 2020 Really? Man, you've made my day! I'll see if I can add shadowing. that's the part I'm struggling with.
Damien Symonds Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Can I see a screenshot of your layers panel?
Damien Symonds Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 So generally for shadowing I add a Hue/Saturation layer and move the Lightness slider to about -60. Then invert the mask. Then paint on gently to add the shadow where needed.
Josie Stahl Posted December 25, 2020 Author Posted December 25, 2020 Does the shadow look ok? Goodness, you gave me a much easier way than I would have attempted.
Damien Symonds Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I think you uploaded the previous version again?
