Moira Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I like the look of this portrait, something seems different. Has this been achieved with lighting style or is it the editing? If it’s the editing how would you replicate it? https://www.instagram.com/p/CIiNVOXBcpz/?igshid=1e6zxc60g4ww6
Damien Symonds Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 It's got to be the lighting, hasn't it? Looking at her eyes, would you say a large light above the photographer, and a reflector below?
Moira Posted December 10, 2020 Author Posted December 10, 2020 (edited) Thanks Damien. Yes I noticed that lighting too, just seemed there was extra punch to the image, perhaps something as simple as his dodge and burn... or maybe the modifier he used. Edited December 10, 2020 by Moira
Damien Symonds Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I'm not for a moment suggesting it's not edited. I'm just saying, you couldn't edit any old photo to look like this - it has to have the right lighting.
