I want to do this with my kiddos, just for fun. I have a photo of them against a light background (our carpet) - will that work? Or is a dark background more ideal?

Do your kids have hats on too?  If there's no hair for you to mask around, your light background would work fine.

No hats... this is SOOC. They were feeling cooperative for about 3 minutes and so I just ran with it in the moment. I can do another tomorrow with a dark background.

So is this just a matter of getting their picture on there and careful masking around... or is there another technique I should consider trying?
