Crystal Scheuermann
Is it possible to remove this glasses glare without cloning?
Damien Symonds
I'm curious about the phrasing of your question. Is there a specific reason you're averse to cloning?
Crystal Scheuermann
I know I have seen in the past where it was possible to remove the glare with the color mixer (I believe that is what it is?). I guess I was originally averse to cloning bc if it's possible to be done that way, I was thinking it would look better/more seamless than cloning, particularly for her eyebrows? Damien Symonds
Always use cloning if you can. But if you feel it's not an option here, you can try this Channel Mixer layer: R +100, 0, 0, 0 G +79, 0, 0, -9 B +61, 0, 0, -12 (Make sure you enter those numbers in exactly the correct order.) Crystal Scheuermann
Ok, thank you! Sorry, I had thought that the Channel Mixer was the superior method here! Or, I should say, the superior method for glare in general
Damien Symonds
Yes, for cases where cloning isn't an option.
Crystal Scheuermann
I think it worked well, thank you. I did need to do a little cloning and patching in the shadows on the right.
Crystal Scheuermann
I've gone through the rest of the session today and have cloned as much as I am able to remove the glare from the rest. These two are the only ones left that I was unable to remove the glare well with cloning. Will the channel mixer work to remove the rest in these? Damien Symonds
The channel mixer should work for where the glare is on the skin. But where it's on eyelashes, you might need to use the Handyman method instead.
Crystal Scheuermann
How is this with the eyelashes?

Crystal Scheuermann
It mostly did, but I did adjust the red channel a tad to make it match better. Thank you!!
