Bridge not using new acr

HI Damien,

I recently got photoshop CC however when I use bridge to open a raw image its using the old version of acr from my photoshop cs5.5 rather than the new version of acr that comes with photoshop CC. How can I change that preference?

Go to Edit>Preferences, and then to "File Type Associations" and see where it's pointing to for raw files.

The file type associations are showing photoshop cc however still opening with CS5.5. Camera raw preferences are showing the old version of raw.

Update to that. If I double click on an individual image it will open in new raw. If I click ctrl r it opens old raw. Am I missing something? Would uninstalling cs5.5 make the prgram default to CC?

Yeah, gosh, that's really weird!

Have you gone to Bridge's Help menu and hit "Updates" to make sure everything is, in fact, up to date?

When I click updates it says everything is up to date as of 1 minute ago

Yes, I assume that uninstalling CS5 would work.

But if you're not ready to do that, you'll just have to keep using Ctrl O, rather than Ctrl R, to open the files, eh?

are you sure you're using the right Bridge?  I had that problem too, when I upgraded....I believe you have to separately install the new Bridge.
