Rich, bright, creamy skintones

My photo is below. I'm interested in creating that creamy, bright skintone and not sure if it's just a matter of her natural skintone or if it can be brightened to a similar effect. They're both backlit (although mine is obviously a bit darker with less light directly hitting her face).

This is not apples-with-apples.  You'll need a more appropriately-lit photo of your own, or a link to a different photo with light like yours.
