Re-coding photos in Bridge for a 2nd time

Hi team

I am wanting to go through my photos in Bridge and want to be ruthless in what I keep, how can this be achieved, as Bridge seems to want to keep the original photos that I coded, and not delete them when no code (number) is selected.

Of course you have to delete them yourself.  Bridge never deletes anything automatically, and we'd NEVER want it to.  That would be very dangerous.
