When I crop it in PS at the end of workflow and then resize to the required 8.5x11 it looks fine but as soon as its attached to an email it becomes terribly pixelated and unusable. I am at a loss. So instead of emailing, ask the magazine if they have some kind of dropbox where you can submit the image. Actually, I could check this hypothesis for you.
