Damien Symonds Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Hi mate, could you briefly read over the posting guidelines again, particularly in regard to not uploading images that don't belong to you.
BrianJoseph Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 i apologize i will not do it again
BrianJoseph Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 Is it possible if you can help me out
Damien Symonds Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I need you to provide a link to the example image. And probably your two separate photos.
BrianJoseph Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 Ok do you need the two images as jpeg
BrianJoseph Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 here the link https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/56/51/db/5651dba80fa85bd2f3727a1fcbf98577.jpg
Damien Symonds Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 No, darn it, an actual link to the page it's on. So credit can be given to the artist.
BrianJoseph Posted October 25, 2016 Author Posted October 25, 2016 That's where I seen it bud I don't know what photographer did that
Damien Symonds Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Then we have nothing to talk about, sorry. This isn't fair to the artist.
BrianJoseph Posted October 25, 2016 Author Posted October 25, 2016 Hey damien i found the photographer for this image http://www.dixielanephotography.com/ here is the link to the photographer
Damien Symonds Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Terrific! Now, do you intend yours to be in black-and-white too, or in colour?
Damien Symonds Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Ok, great. I've been sitting here pondering this. Whether to assemble the design in colour first, then make it all black-and-white afterward; or to edit the photos separately in black-and-white, then assemble the design. Since there might be some blend mode work involved, which is hard to apply to multiple layers at once, I think we should go for the latter. So go ahead and edit both photos in black-and-white in the usual way, then post them here for me and we'll discuss combining. 1
BrianJoseph Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 edited black and white as requested
Damien Symonds Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Sorry if I wasn't clear. Post them separately for me please. But edit them properly first. The main one looks awful.
BrianJoseph Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 ok sorry i didnt understand i will redo them
Damien Symonds Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 22 minutes ago, BrianJoseph said: No, this is awful. Edit properly, please. Have you read the class yet? 22 minutes ago, BrianJoseph said: Oh gosh, this isn't right. http://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/09/extract-then-copy-vs-copy-then-extract.html But it's too late now, don't go back.
BrianJoseph Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 should i try cutting him put again using the mask?
Damien Symonds Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 You might have to if you find your cutting out wasn't any good. But if you think it's ok, no, don't double your workload.
