save without cropping

If I save a psd to a jpeg without cropping and resizing, how does that effect the outcome when printing in comparison to cropping to 11in x 15in?  If I like the image as is, cropping takes away some of the image I intended on having in the photo.

Are you referring to photos that you print yourself, or ones that you sell as digital files to clients?

They're very different procedures.  For the ones you are printing yourself, you crop to the exact size you intend to print, at the exact resolution your lab requires.

For client or family digital files, you crop to 11:15, period.
