I played with fonts yesterday and the 3d option and had no idea what I was doing.

Now when I open pics I can't see anything.

At a glance, do you know what is wrong?

No idea, sorry.  You might need to reset preferences?

Correct but I don't remember how to change it... 
I assume that is what got jacked up

some video option?  I have no idea what I did and I don't want to reset everything b/c it has been so long I don't remember how to get it back

Can you remind me what to watch that tells everything I need to do please?

You're right, I have no idea, sorry.

To reset preferences, go to Preferences>General, and hit the "Reset Preferences on Quit" button.
