KimMoore
Hi Damien, I have a question about web images. If I was doing a business branding session & the company wanted high-resolution files & files that they can upload to the web (ie no specific place of upload, either there website, facebook, email etc etc). What is the correct way to re-size these?
Damien Symonds
Oh gee, that's SUCH a good question, and one to which there's no precise answer, I'm afraid. 52 minutes ago, KimMoore said: high-resolution files These will be whatever your camera took. How many megapixels is your camera? 52 minutes ago, KimMoore said: & files that they can upload to the web I reckon Facebook size (2048px on the long edge) would be fine for this. KimMoore
I'm a Canon R5. So when they say high resolution & web, just resize to 2048px on longest side?
Damien Symonds
For the "high resolution" ones, don't resize at all. Send every pixel your camera took. For the "web resolution" ones, yes, resize to 2048px.
