starowl394 Posted May 23 Posted May 23 It's been a really long time since I've bought a monitor and I need a new one because my old and loved Dell is dying I think. I don't have a ton to spend and I'm not a pro, just a mom who takes pics of her kids and pretty vacation scenery. I can't afford a Dell right now. I'm trying to keep it under $200, which I know is nothing. My monitor is currently a Dell u2312hm that I bought 12 years ago, I don't mind staying that size or going to a 27. I currently have a Spyder x elite for calibration that has been working well for me and I'd prefer not to get a new one, but I will if needed. I was looking at these two: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088BC5HMM/?coliid=I3DSG1ECQFC6GU&colid=16O4FN1YAK1IT&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/Zero-Frame-Monitor-Adaptive-Sync-FreeSync-Compatible/dp/B09KG5FW1G/ref=sr_1_4?dib=eyJ2IjoiMS or any others you can rec would be great. Thank you so much!
Damien Symonds Posted Saturday at 11:06 PM Posted Saturday at 11:06 PM Broadly speaking, the Asus ProArt is the higher-regarded of those two monitors. In my personal experience, I've always been very impressed with Acer monitors. For the budget, that one look good.
Brian Posted Monday at 04:13 AM Posted Monday at 04:13 AM I agree with Damien. If you can afford the Asus ProArt, I'd get that one. A 27" IPS Display with 2560 x 1440 is really what you want and it looks like it is on sale as I type this.
