kathleen08 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 My well loved and well used 27" Dell Ultrasharp seems to have reached end of life 😞 Considering these two: BenQ PD3225U 32 Inch 4K IPS Black UHD Thunderbolt Monitor for MacBook Dell UltraSharp 32 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitor - U3225QE I am a PC girl. From some reviews, some feature might be geared towards Mac on the BenQ, but still PC conpatible. What else would you suggest at this time? Thank you!
kathleen08 Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 Sorry, adding a slight different BenQ model, very similar but also slightly different: BenQ PD3226G 32” 4K UHD (3840x2160) 144Hz Monitor for Designers, IPS, 95% P3, 100% sRGB, 90W Thunderbolt 4, Software Calibration, KVM, Daisy Chain, Reflection-Free Nano Matte Panel, Height Adjustable
kathleen08 Posted October 19 Author Posted October 19 Thanks, Damien. The Dell Ultrasharps are still a good bet?
Damien Symonds Posted October 19 Posted October 19 As far as I know, yes. Not to say that BenQ aren't a good bet. I'm sure they're great. I've just never had a chance to try calibrating one.
kathleen08 Posted October 20 Author Posted October 20 I guess my x-Rite i1 also probably needs an upgrade!
Brian Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Historically, BenQ Displays are a PITA to get calibrated. Well, at least in the past. I have no idea if the current models have improved. Whatever you purchase, make sure it's a IPS-based Display. Yes, your calibrator also needs upgrading. It's only money, right?
